Just tried walking 3 blocks to María's place at 2pm. Big mistake This heat ain't no joke, che ra'a! Felt like the pavement was melting my chancletas. Saw Don Ramón napping under his mango tree, smart man. Ended up hiding in the Pettirossi kiosko for 20 mins, gulping down an ice-cold cocido and demolishing a bag of chipas.
